The Coalition for Health AI Innovation and Ethics (CHOICE) initiative presents the second session in its webinar series, preparing for the development of a practical guide on AI ethics for health innovation. This session explores the practical challenges of operationalizing AI ethics in the Global Majority’s health settings. It will examine how ethical principles can be translated into concrete requirements, processes, and decision points across the health AI lifecycle.The discussion will highlight key tensions – such as balancing innovation with oversight, adapting global standards to local realities, and ensuring meaningful accountability in complex health ecosystems – and will consider tools and approaches that support more effective, context-aware implementation.
